So today after we had breakfast and packed up we started driving with our sights set on Flagstaff.
Right when we set off our car started having problems. At about 10:45 am. (here time, so 3 hours behind) we got to the GMC car dealership so that they could look at it and fix it. We didn't get out of there till about 4 hours later.
We did get to eat at this good Mexican restaurant across the street though.
Then after that we went back to the dealership to wait... We played some card games--on a chair--while waiting.
Then once we got back on the road we saw some beautiful scenery!
Then on the way to Flagstaff we went to Meteor Crater. It was AWESOME!
And I made a friend!
So, other than all the waiting we had to do just to get the battery replaced, it was a pretty good day!

ReplyDeleteYou did end up having an excellent day...and who knows what possible danger that 4-hour hold-up kept you from. We may never know. What I do know is that you are safe and sound in Arizona this morning...and seeing the amazing Creation of our loving God!
